The AI solution for Odoo. Workist handles order entry, quote creation, and inquiry processing through AI document processing. When something's unclear, the agent asks instead of guessing.
Two core use cases for AI document processing in Odoo, both connected through the standard Odoo 19 API.
The agent follows a clear flow. Every step is transparent and traceable in the Workist dashboard.
Emails arrive automatically in the Workist Smart Inbox or are forwarded to the agent. PDF, Excel, and EDI attachments are processed directly.
The agent reads header and line items contextually. Independent of layout, language, or supplier.
Customer, item, delivery address, and pricelist lookup against your Odoo master data. When something's unclear, the agent asks instead of guessing.
The sales order is created via API in Odoo, either as a quote or already confirmed. Workist stores the document number for full traceability.
Three things that set Workist apart from OCR, RPA, and middleware solutions as an AI solution for Odoo.
Workist calls the external JSON API of Odoo directly, authenticated with an API key for its own integration user. Master data via API pull, order creation via API push, with no custom module and no changes to the Odoo core. Odoo 19 is required, earlier versions don't ship this API.
Customers, contacts, items, delivery addresses, and pricelists are synced overnight. Validation runs against your live master data, including the fields you created in Odoo yourself.
As soon as a sales order is created in Odoo, Workist stores the document number. Full traceability: which document from Workist became which sales order in Odoo.
The questions Workist prospects ask most often about Odoo.
Workist processes sales documents using AI: orders, inquiries, and price requests from email or PDF are extracted by the AI agent, validated against your Odoo master data, and created as a quote or sales order in Odoo. The integration runs through the external JSON API of Odoo 19.
Through the external JSON API of Odoo. Workist authenticates with an API key for a dedicated integration user and calls the Odoo models directly. Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and on-premise are supported. On Odoo Online this API requires a Custom plan. No custom module is needed, the Odoo core stays untouched.
Creates: sales orders (sale.order) including their line items, either as a quote or already confirmed. Reads: customers and contacts (res.partner), items (product.product), delivery addresses, pricelists, and taxes are used for validation against master data. Workist stores the returned document number for full traceability.
Odoo 19. The external JSON API that Workist uses to read master data and create sales orders only exists from this version on. Odoo 18 and earlier don't support it. Odoo 19 was released in September 2025.
No. Workist uses the standard Odoo API. You create an integration user and generate an API key for it, that's all there is to do on the Odoo side. On Odoo Online, API keys have a limited lifetime, so we plan the rotation together.
Typically a few weeks. You provide API access to Odoo, Workist configures mapping and validation. Master data is synced overnight via job, sales orders are created in Odoo immediately after completion in Workist.
EU hosting. SOC 2 Type II certified, GDPR compliant, data processing agreement available. Workist handles maintenance and compatibility on Odoo API updates, included in your Workist package.
