Workist can be seamlessly connected to leading ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Sage, Abas, Infor, proALPHA, AP+ and many other systems
Depending on your ERP system, Workist connects via standard connectors, API, EDI, or SFTP server. If no standard connector is available, we develop a custom interface or connect via existing EDI or middleware infrastructure.
The introduction of Workist usually only takes a few weeks and does not require a high level of IT effort
No. For the Workist connectors for SAP, Business Central, Sage 100, Sage 200, and weclapp, a Workist package is installed in the tenant that uses only outbound HTTPS connections. Via API or the Workist SFTP server, no intervention in the ERP tenant is needed at all.
Workist builds a custom connection via the ERP's own API or uses the Workist SFTP server. With existing EDI infrastructure, connection happens via middleware like Lobster Data, Seeburger, or similar, typically over AS2 or SFTP.
Workist provides an SFTP server (ftp.workist.com, port 22) with SSH key authentication. The customer drops master data into the /export directory; in /incoming, Workist delivers the structured output files plus the original PDF and email. The customer generates an SSH key pair and sends the public key to Workist.
Workist reads customer, item, and other master data from your ERP tenant for validation. The processed orders, quotes, or other data flow back to the ERP via the agreed path (API, SFTP, or dedicated connector).
In five phases: kickoff with review of three to five sample documents, master data alignment and connection setup, output format configuration, end-to-end test including ERP import, and final adjustments. Standard duration is six weeks, depending on customer-side IT availability.
